Indoor Trapeze (Flying Trapeze Centre Melbourne)The Flying Trapeze Centre has been a long time dream for Holly and Steen, the founders of 'Flying Trapeze Australia'. After 10 years of running the phenomenally successful 'Flying Trapeze Australia', including a number of summers teaching and performing in Melbourne, the search was underway for the perfect building to open an indoor flying trapeze school. One morning at the beginning of 2010 Holly and Steen saw something that looked like it might fit the bill. A convenient central location in Blackburn, close to transport and major arterial roads - but the question remained, could it really be 13 Meters high? The answer was yes, and after a custom re-fit, 'The Building' is now ready for you to take your first step into a whole new world of fitness and fun! Dominating the space is, of course, 10 meter high flying trapeze rig, permanently set up and secured to the floor. A floating floor has been installed around the rig to provide ample space for circus based classes. Gym mats and equipment required for aerial and conditioning skills, including a static trapeze, hoops and silks are also available. A mezzanine level has been custom built to offer a small and inviting space, utilised exclusively for Anti Gravity Yoga, Pilates and Yoglates classes. Boasting a comfortable lounge and waiting area, immaculate bathroom & toilet amenity and a private office space and kitchen, The Flying Trapeze Centre is the perfect place to get fit and learn to fly - no matter what the weather!
